Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation invites you to help build inspiring content for the 46th Annual International Committee for Museums and Collections of Science and Technology’s (CIMUSET) Conference, held in joint with the International Association of Transport and Communications Museums (IATM).
As an International Council of Museums (ICOM) committee, CIMUSET’s annual conference provides a forum for communication and cooperation between museum professionals dedicated to technical and scientific heritage from around the world.
In 2018, conference delegates will come together at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and the recently-renewed Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa, Ontario from October 15 to October 18.This year’s conference theme, Museums in a Digital World, will lead the discussion on how museums can embrace digital platforms and rise within the digital movement.
Successful proposals will offer engaging insights on the digital museum and could include content pertaining to app development within the museum setting, digitally accessible collections, engagement of digital natives, successes and failures on digital projects, and the future of digital marketing.
