The impacts of 140 Years of Mining Development

The Thetford Mines Mineralogical and Mining Museum will be offering its brand new historical tour starting July 1st.

This bus tour through the city streets will showcase the major impacts of more than 140 years of mining development. A stop will be made at the O'Brien General Store in Black Lake for a tour of this facility. People will also be able to go to the lookout of the mine shaft located in front. Learn more. (in French).

The CASC office is situated in Robinson Huron Treaty territory and the land on which we learn and live is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek.
