Welcome Jardin des glaciers!

 

The Jardin des glaciers is a place for transferring knowledge, experimentation and discovery, all geared around the last ice age, climate change, human population and the development of the region’s natural resources. The Jardin des glaciers is primarily a Glacier Exploration Station, situated in a former church, and associated with a 40 square kilometre region called the Maritime Adventure Park, where visitors discover the unique traces left by glaciers 20,000 years ago.  These two major components form the conceptual basis of education and promotion of science around climate change. Being a member of the CASC will permit the Jardin des glaciers to have access to an exceptional network of colleagues and expertise in order to pursue its mission of science education.
