Many years ago, the global Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) annual conference was scheduled on the same date as Canadian Thanksgiving.  So the Canadian delegates attending the conference made up for missing their holiday byorganising an annual Canadian thanksgiving dinner during the conference.  Nowadays, ASTC has kindly moved their conference, but the tradition continues with the Annual Canadian Get-together at ASTC, usually held at a restaurant near the conference hotel on the Sunday or Monday evening of the conference.  We usually send a save-the-date for the conference in August, so watch your mailbox for this information and if you're going to ASTC, do plan to attend!   All Canadians welcome, even those working at non-Canadian Institutions, and our non-Canadian members are also invited!

Event is pre-paid, usually $40-60 CAD, payable online.
