The drive to build an arctic learning centre was simply that such a facility does not exist, he added.

Science North's new exhibit, Genome: Unlocking Life's Code, aims to help people understand the intricacies behind our DNA.

Syd Bolton is loving the space.
Bolton has taken hundreds of computer artifacts from his Personal Computer Museum on Alma Street and opened Interplay, a seven-month exhibit at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener.
"It's been a real eye-opener to what we could potentially do if we had more space," Bolton said of the exhibit, which opened on Wednesday. Read more

Renovations on the Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre and space gallery are underway at the TELUS World of Science Edmonton.
The work is part of a $40 million renovation and revisioning called the Aurora Project.
From September 25 to October 15 the Manitoba Museum will showcase two photographic exhibits marking 150 years of Canadian relations with the United States.
