Explore COVE & McNab's Island
Board a boat on the Halifax waterfront and travel to nearby COVE (Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship) to tour the facility which brings together people, ideas, industry, and research to help the community and its members to work in new ways to create practical, commercial, and revolutionary ocean tech advances.
Next, travel to nearby McNab’s Island, a provincial park about 5 km long and 1.5 km wide, comprising 1000 acres of historical and natural features, and recreational and educational opportunities. On arrival, the Friends of McNab’s Island Society will lead you on a walking tour.
