CASC 2021 Conference Updates

Join us, June 1-3, 2021, for our first-ever VIRTUAL CONFERENCE!

CASC 2021: Future Imperfect is a three-day virtual conference, presented by the Canadian Association of Science Centres. This year's program features a daily Keynote Speaker, a series of daily prerecorded learning sessions, and daily opportunities to network and engage with colleagues and peers from coast to coast to coast.

The Power of Indigenous Inclusion and Innovation in Navigating a Future Imperfect

Role of Indigenous innovation and inclusion and how it can help accelerate leadership for the future, with introductory remarks by Dr. Alejandro Adem, NSERC President.

Mind the Digital Gap

An expert panel exploring digital engagement strategies in a Future Imperfect with introduction by Dr. Nipun Vats, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Research at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada  (ISED). 

Moderator: Ryan Dodge, Chief Digital Officer, Ingenium

Trust in the Age of Misinformation

Expert panel will explore the concept of trust in a misinformation age and specifically science communication strategies during COVID-19, with introduction by Dr. Theresa Tam, Chief Public Health Officer of Canada.
